Loyalty to Trump: “Because of what that man did for me and you and all Americans, irrespective of whether they voted for him”

Dr. Sebastian Gorka: There’s one issue I’ve been cogitating on whether I broach with you. And if you don’t like what I’m about to say, if you think it’s soft or it’s unrealistic, I don’t care because I want to open up a little bit. I want to give you a peek behind the curtain of Sebastian Gorka.
There’s an issue with my former boss that may not be hard bitten, cynical or political, but it matters to me. And it’s the question of loyalty. Loyalty matters.
Think of all the people who served with me at my rank or even above my rank, who came in, who agreed to work for a man elected by a 64 million Americans, took a paycheck from you because yeah, that’s who pays your salary if you are a deputy assistant or an assistant to the president, you pay for us. You’re a federal employee. And then behind his back, cast him out, made fun of him, were fired or left under various circumstances, and then just dissed, made stuff up.
Whatever happened to those tapes, Omarosa? Do you remember Omarosa? “I’ve got tapes! Trump’s a racist. I’m gonna release them!” Hey Jeff, how long ago was it that Omarosa made that threat about she’s got the evidence about Trump being a racist?
Jeff: It’s at least five years.
Dr. Sebastian Gorka: Yeah. You’d think that she would’ve published him by now, no?
Jeff: Maybe she’s just waiting.
Dr. Sebastian Gorka: Or Scaramucci, the man who spent — was it nine days in the office? Ten days? Nine and a half, we’ll split the difference. And Scaramucci who said, “Trump is the greatest thing ever!” And then when he was fired, he said, “Aggh! He’s a threat to democracy!” And, “Ha ha ha, I’m gonna bet against him!”
“I’m not talking about blind loyalty. I’m talking about honor.”
I’m not talking about a personality cult. I’m not talking about blind loyalty. I’m talking about honor. There’s a big document on my wall in my kitchen at home. Jeff’s seen it. It’s on a thick kind of parchment. It came in a roll after I left the White House. And it’s written in very fine calligraphy. And it says, “Sebastian Gorka of Virginia.” And it’s signed by the Secretary of State and by the President of the United States. And it’s got a big, embossed gold seal on it. And that’s my commissioning document because when I became a deputy to the president, I became a politically commissioned officer of the White House.
Call me old fashioned, guys. That means something to me. Why does it mean something to me? Because of what that man did for me and you and all Americans, irrespective of whether they voted for him. What he has put up with. The attacks on him, his family, his home being raided. He deserves a modicum of support just because of that.
So, I want to have a primary. Everybody who wants to run, run. One man who’s got my support, a man who didn’t have to be president, didn’t have to run again. But he’s proved himself already.
And for me, loyalty matters.
