In the latest signs that the worst of the Chinese Wuhan Coronavirus pandemic may have already passed, the official model used by the White House in projecting potential Coronavirus fatalities has been significantly reduced yet again.

The model used by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), which is the White House Coronavirus Task Force’s main source of projection totals, has now lowered its projection of nearly 82,000 deaths in the U.S. to 60,000.

This coincides with the significant news of a continued decrease in daily Coronavirus hospitalizations in New York, the hardest-hit area in the entire country, as well as Governor Andrew Cuomo confirming that New York now has more than enough beds to treat every Coronavirus patient. This is a far cry from some of the Left’s favorite projections that as many as 2 million Americans would die from the virus.

At this point, one of two things must be the case: Either the so-called “experts” were drastically wrong in their projections, or President Trump’s swift actions, such as the travel bans and the temporary shutdown of the economy, played a central role in saving thousands of lives that otherwise would have been lost. Either one proves President Trump right, and proves the “experts.” Again.
