After dunking on Michelle Obama for her ridiculous declaration in an interview that her family will only meet with vaccinated people, Sebastian addresses perhaps the most disturbing news of the day: The arrests of two different pastors in two different countries. In Canada, Calgary Pastor Artur Pawlowski was arrested by the police for continuing to hold in-person worship services, in defiance of a coronavirus lockdown mandate. And in the United Kingdom, a Christian chaplain was reported to the government’s “anti-terrorism” division for simply giving a sermon in which he warned about the encroachment of the far-left LGBTQ agenda. These examples, taking place in two of our closest allies, are indicative of the efforts by big government to completely destroy our freedom of religion in the name of “public safety” or “social justice.” This proves, more than anything else, why we must stand up for our First Amendment rights now more than ever before.
