Sebastian talks to two business owners he met while he was on vacation in Bend, Oregon: Kevin and Krista Lauinger, the owners of Kevista Coffee. Kevin and Krista talk about how they started their business just last year, in January of 2020, and have since been hit hard by the coronavirus-related shutdowns. They explain their decision to eventually defy the state’s lockdown and mask mandates, and have been hit with massive fines and threatened with legal action by the state, under the command of Governor Kate Brown. Nevertheless, Kevin and Krista remained determined to keep fighting, with the support of their local community.
