For the opening monologue, Sebastian gives his take on one particular individual who has been a part of the Deep State elite and believes himself to be an “expert” on national security: Disgraced former general David Petraeus, who dared to “reflect” on the crumbling Afghanistan withdrawal in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. Sebastian points out that if anyone is disloyal in any sense of the word, it’s Petraeus, who cheated on his wife with a woman who was not only married as well, but was writing his biography. Men like Petraeus, who feel so entitled in their everyday lives and feel immune to criticism, are representative of the out-of-touch elitists who try to dictate our foreign policy every day.
